Kokandy Productions will launch its fifth anniversary season with a revival of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical THE WIZ, with book by William F. Brown, music and lyrics by Charlie Smalls, directed by guest director Lili-Anne Brown, music direction by Jimmy Morehead and choreography by Breon Arzell.

The goal of the Gala is to help insure that no NiCori youth student is ever turned away due to financial hardship.

Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz, more than 200 hours of performances and an overall audience exceeding 5,000, Salem's nonprofit, professional musical theatre company announced their holiday production starting the day before Thanksgiving - a 3-week run of Plaid Tidings, the Christmas special of the original classic Forever Plaid.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra presents Raiders of the Lost Ark with live orchestral accompaniment, January 6-8 in Red Bank, Newark and New Brunswick. The Orchestra performs John Williams' epic score as the film Roger Ebert called "a movie of glorious imagination and breakneck speed" screens above the stage. Steven Spielberg's timeless classic sees Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones on a quest to recover the legendary Ark of the Covenant and save the world. Constantine Kitsopoulos conducts.
