In honor of THIRTEEN's 50th anniversary on September 16, 2012, the flagship station of PBS is kicking off a year-long celebration the week of September 17-23, 2012 with the premiere of Pioneers of THIRTEEN, a four-part documentary chronicling the growth and breadth of the station's programming over 50 years.

Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen announced today the programming for the 2012-2013 season at The Boston Opera House.

Vy Higginsen's Mama Foundation for the Arts presents two musical matinees, Mama I Want To Sing: The Next Generation and Sing, Harlem, Sing!, every Saturday afternoon (performances resume on Saturday, October 6th, 2012) at The Dempsey Theater, located at 127 West 127th Street, between Lenox and 7th Avenues. Clements has assembled a top-notch cast for this production featuring many performers with extensive Broadway credits. Tickets are now on sale through Sunday, July 22. Preview performances begin tomorrow, June 21, with opening night scheduled for Wednesday, June 27.

REBECCA, the new musical based on the classic novel by Daphne du Maurier novel, has found its male and female leads: Jill Paice will play the role of "I" and Ryan Silverman the role of "Maxim de Winter." REBECCA will open on Broadway Sunday, November 18 at The Broadhurst Theatre. Previews will begin Tuesday, October 30.

On last night's episode of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS themed 'The Most Memorable Year of My Life,' the remaining eleven couples were challenged to perform a meaningful dance using any style dance of their choice.

On Tuesday, acclaimed singer and songwriter Seal returns to the ballroom performing 'Lean On Me' from his latest album 'Soul 2.' His soulful performance will be accompanied by four members of the Troupe. Also hitting the stage is best-selling country vocal group, Rascal Flatts, with a network TV debut performance of 'Changed,' the title of their new album due out April 3rd.

Previews will begin Tuesday, March 27. Sierra Boggess (The Little Mermaid, Love Never Dies, Master Class and as Christine in last month's 25th Anniversary Concert of The Phantom of the Opera in London) will play the lead role of 'I'.
