Mike Tweddle, Artistic Director of Tobacco Factory Theatres, has launched the theatre's new season which takes it into 2018 and a transformational year. A brand new resident professional ensemble, the Factory Company, will perform Macbeth and A View From the Bridge between February and May and the reimagining of Tobacco Factory Theatres gets underway with the beginning of the theatre's much anticipated 2018 building project.

Born in 1948 LaDonna Adrian Gaines who eventually became the Queen of Disco used to skip high school classes in Boston Massachusetts and take the bus to New York to audition. She landed her first professional gig in the rock musical Hair and performed it in Munich where she created a sensation. Her hit song 'I Feel Love' brought her back to the US...and the rest is history.
