There's a torch being passed at the long running, and well-loved radio program Jazz After Hours, created by Jim Wilke 30 years ago in Seattle. The man picking up the torch this fall is Jeff Hanley, also a well-known name in the Seattle, Bay Area, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara radio markets. Jazz After Hours airs twice weekly on more than 60 Public Radio International station.

Penguin Rep Theatre presents the New York premiere of The Fabulous Lipitones, a musical comedy by John Markus (head writer for The Cosby Show) and Mark St. Germain (Freud's Last Session, Becoming Dr. Ruth), directed by Peter Flynn, and starring Broadway veterans P.J. Benjamin (Wicked, Chicago), Scott Mikita (Phantom of the Opera), and Joe Ricci (A View from the Bridge), joined by Rachid Sabitri, from August 8 through August 31 in Stony Point, New York.

Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. The cast will include Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport, Brandon Uranowitz as Adam Hochberg, and Max Von Essen as Henri Baurel.

SKID ROW--Johnny Solinger (vocals), Scotti Hill (guitar), Rachel Bolan (bass), Snake Sabo (guitar) and Rob Hammersmith (drums)-will be a long way from home throughout the summer. First, the band is teaming up with Black Star Riders for a brief tour of the west coast, which starts today, May 8 in Tucson, AZ at the Rialto Theatre. Once that concludes on May 16, the band will play headlining shows across the U.S., including a stop at the legendary Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, May 17 and an appearance at this year's Rocklahoma festival on May 23 in Pryor, OK. They'll then head to Europe in June for various festivals, including the Download Festival in Donington, England on June 14. Once the U.S. trek concludes in July, SKID ROW will head to Kostrzyn, Poland, where they've been invited to headline one of the biggest festivals in Europe, the Woodstock Festival Poland on July 31.

Brownlow), Ethan Haberfield (Artful Dodger) and introducing Tyler Moran as Oliver. Oliver! will also feature 16 local boys from across the state of New Jersey who auditioned from a pool of over 200. Oliver! will play the Millburn, New Jersey theater from tonight, November 21 through December 29. The official press opening night is Sunday, December 1, 2013, at 7:00pm.

13 years ago a musical entitled INAPPROPRIATE with a book by Michael Sottile and Lonnie McNeil, premiered Off-Broadway. Back on April 1, when he posted his third compilation of delayed cabaret reviews from shows staged during the winter, BroadwayWorld.com's lead New York cabaret reviewer promised Number 4 would come with arrival of summer.
