'Falsettos' is the final production of Sierra Stages' seventh season, and is directed by Sandra Rockman, with dance direction by George Jayne and musical direction by Ken Getz, who conducts the live band.

Three cast members from the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company's production of "Strictly Dishonorable" will perform at the company's 35th anniversary gala on Monday, November 9.

In 1964, HELLO DOLLY opened on Broadway, starring a relatively unknown, 43-year-old Carol Channing as the lead. Reviving the show in 1978, 1981, and 1995, Channing's personality is almost synonymous with the title character. With the demanding role requiring someone with a true star quality, many celebrities have tackled the bold character (including Ginger Rogers, Pearl Bailey, Phyllis Diller, Ethel Merman…and, of course, Barbara Streisand). It is no surprise that Arlington Player's has gambled on a local small-town-star as the headliner in their current production.

GFour Productions, winners of 54 Drama Desk and 44 Tony Awards, today announced the cast of leading ladies for the Memphis production of the international hit show Menopause The Musical, which will play the Orpheum Theatre for 3 performances, August 1-2, 2015. Jamie Muscato will join the cast of The House of Mirrors and Hearts, a new British chamber musical to play in Studio 1 at Arcola Theatre from Thursday 2 July 2015. Jamie will play the role of Nathan, replacing the previously announced Bart Edwards, who has had to withdraw from the production due to unforeseen circumstances.

Casting is announced today for the World Premiere of The House of Mirrors and Hearts, a new British chamber musical which will open the Summer/Autumn Season at Arcola Theatre from Thursday 2 July to Saturday 1 August, with a press night on Tuesday 7 July at 7.30pm.

On Monday, May 18th at 7 p.m., performing arts high schools from four boroughs will present samples of their best work of the year at Circle in the Square Theatre. Book of Mormon cast member and Circle in the Square Theatre School alumnus Christian Dante White will welcome the performers and inspire them to keep their dream alive. This annual event is the centerpiece of Circle in the Square Theatre School's Teens on Broadway program.

Carrollwood Players Theatre will present a staged reading of Woody Allen's hilarious comedy Don't Drink The Water at the CWP Black Box, 4333 Gunn Highway, Tampa, FL, 33618 on Saturday, April 11th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 12th at 3 p.m., starring popular Tampa actors Miguel E. Rodriguez and Denise Deneen along with a talented supporting cast of more than a dozen performers.

The Public Theater announced additional casting today for the 2015 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, beginning Wednesday, May 27 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. This summer will feature Shakespeare's late romances with THE TEMPEST, directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, and CYMBELINE, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Jesse Tyler Ferguson will return to the Park this summer as Trinculo in THE TEMPEST, along with Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe teaming up again with Daniel Sullivan on CYMBELINE to play Posthumus Leonatus/Cloten and Imogen, respectively.

The Writers Guild of America, West will honor late screenwriter-director-actor-producer Harold Ramis with its Laurel Award for Screenwriting Achievement at the Writers Guild Awards ceremony on Saturday, February 14. Erica Mann Ramis and family will accept the award on his behalf.
