Linda Shelton, Executive Director of The Joyce Theater Foundation, today announced that The Joyce has selected world-renowned, award-winning choreographer Twyla Tharp as its Artist-in-Residence.

Special Event from November 6 - 16, 2014 at City Center. The Band Wagon will open on Sunday, November 8.

This September, American Repertory Ballet and Princeton Ballet School will be participating in community events throughout central Jersey: Cranbury Day in Cranbury, Septemberfest in Hamilton, and the Hub City Sounds Festival in New Brunswick.

The toe-tapping, heartfelt musical "Always…Patsy Cline" created and originally directed by Ted Swindley is based on a true story. It opens Sept. 3 at Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County's theatrical icon. "Always…Patsy Cline" features more than 25 of Cline's classic songs and will run for seven weeks closing Sunday, Oct. 19 with a 4 p.m. matinee.

The Arts and Education Council, the St. Louis region's United Arts Fund, today announced the recipients of the 2014 PNC Project Grants, generously underwritten by a $40,000 donation from the PNC Foundation. The grants, ranging from $500 to $5,000, go to 20 arts organizations in the 16-county bi-state St. Louis region.
