Lost Bayou Ramblers, the perversely progressive band rooted in Cajun traditions, are undertaking a victory lap this Fall, that begins September 7 in Lafayette, Louisiana and ends October 27, 2018 in New Orleans. Afterwards, the group goes on hiatus until April 2019 - their longest break from regular live performing in twenty years.

This fundraising event features musicians performing in and among Oakland's extraordinary monuments, mausoleums and renowned gardens. All genres of music will be represented: rock, folk, Americana, jazz, classical, and everything in between.

In light of current health concerns, and out of an abundance of caution regarding public travel, The Desert City Ramblers and Crane Kick Records have decided to take the band's radio promo tour in a new and unique direction. The Ramblers and their management team have started taking steps to “visit” programmers via a virtual radio tour. This virtual tour will replace the original promotion tour, which was set to launch later this month.

Lost Bayou Ramblers, the Grammy-winning, aggressively progressive yet adamantly traditional Cajun band, are celebrating their 20th Anniversary as a group with select tour dates and the release of a deluxe DVD/CD package comprising the On Va Continuer! documentary and Asteur live album. There will also be a separate vinyl release featuring its own unique artwork. These are all being released on September 13 on Lost Bayou Records. The first tour date is August 23 in Brooklyn. I'm hoping you'd consider advancing their show with a feature, review or blurb. Please let me know if you need the music or want to see the documentary.

PS Classics will record the cast album of the recent much-acclaimed production of Lone Star Love on March 2nd. Directed by Michael Bogdanov (Olivier Award-winner for The War of the Roses), LONE STAR LOVE is inspired by the play The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare, conceived and adapted by John L. Haber, with music and lyrics by Jack Herrick, and contributions from Michael Bogdanov, Bland Simpson and Tommy Thompson. Randy Skinner (2001 Tony® nominee, 42nd Street) is choreographer. Discussions are underway for a commercial transfer.
