Utah Opera takes audiences on a heart-stopping journey of forbidden love, loyalty, betrayal and tragedy in the 2015-16 season opening production of Puccini's "Tosca". The performances, held at the Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theater, are tonight, October 10, October 12, 14, and 16 at 7:30 PM, then October 18 at 2 PM.

Did you know the Home for Wayward Girls and Fallen was built on a magician's burial ground? Cherry Pitz and the good ladies of the Home have dealt with aliens, zombies, ghosts, demons, all while trying to raise funds to keep the Home in order (and, of course, for glitter and lingerie). This October a new spirit comes to visit Cherry... how do the dead really feel about all of this burlesque happened on top of their graves?

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Washington National Opera are seeking nominations for The Marian Anderson Vocal Award, which celebrates excellence in performance by recognizing a young American singer who has achieved initial professional success in the area of opera, oratorio, or recital repertory, and who exhibits promise for a significant career.

Cherry Pitz is stranded at an airport in Wichita with Del Griffith and unable to make this month's Hotsy Totsy, but no fear the show will go on! Ferris Bueller (Handsome Brad) has been pulled off a parade float to host the show along with his buddy Cameron Frye (Brief Sweat).

Grammy award winning singer and songwriter Melissa Manchester has done it all.  Her first singing job, as a solo singer/pianist in the clubs of New York, is where she met Bette Midler.  She was hired as a back-up singer for Bette, as one of the famous, “Harlettes,” and six months later, she had her own recording contract!
