A stunning wedding collar made from luxurious leather and diamonds has gone missing, and it's up to a doggie detective duo to find out what happened before the special event is ruined. They're under the gun because they only have three days to do so. A new children's book released by Dog Ear Publishing follows the story of the canine sleuths who are on the case. When Monique Potter, a poodle, discovers her collar missing from her nightstand, she can't stop crying because she hoped to wear it during her wedding three days later. Although her parents call the German shepherd police, they also place a call to a special detective agency run by Bradley and Mr. Quick, dogs who they hope can find the stolen collar quickly. The detectives - and the police - don't know the necklace was taken by Dollar and his partner Cash, who had been engaged to Monique until she broke it off to become acquainted with Edward, who she said 'Yes' to a year later. Cash claims he took the collar just to tell Monique to delay her wedding, but once a con dog, always a con dog. Can Bradley and Mr. Quick find the collar in time or will the Potters be forced to delay the ceremony their daughter has always dreamed of? 'Bradley and Mr. Quick the Canine Duo: In Search of the Wedding Collar,' a short chapter book, is full of colorful canine characters from an eavesdropping alley cat to beautiful waitresses, impatient fathers and crusty bulldog witnesses. Readers step into the world of doggie detectives with a front-row seat to the action and adventure. Author Arlene Brown has been interested in writing since 1987 but life and time were not on her side until her retirement in 2010. Those were the words 12-year-old Jane Lawrence remembered when she was asked to head up the up-and-coming blonde starlet's fan club at 20th Century Fox under the supervision of studio head Darryl Zanuck. Jane was no stranger to movie sets or movie stars, being that her father, Sidney Lipsitch, headed RKO's legal department. She spent time with the likes of Robert Mitchum, Lucille Ball, Ethel Merman, Polly Bergen and Irving Berlin, but helping launch the career of one of the world's most legendary sex symbols was a task beyond Jane's wildest dreams. In author Tony Jerris' new audio book, “Marilyn Monroe: My Little Secret,” he explores Jane's working relationship with the actress and how it developed into a special friendship that lasted right up until Marilyn's untimely death on August 5, 1962. Told in Jane's voice, this is a story of an elderly woman reflecting upon on her fondest memories of the blue-eyed screen goddess and how she became a confidante of sorts, who Marilyn used to call “My little secret.”

On June 21st, wizard rock pioneers Harry and the Potters (Paul and Joe DeGeorge), will release their first full-length album since 2006: Lumos. Using the magic of rock and roll, it chronicles the events of the seventh and final Harry Potter book where J.K. Rowling's teen wizard and his friends are on the run from a xenophobic, authoritarian regime and must work diligently to take down a dark wizard who capitalizes on fear and emboldens supremacist wizards. In other words, the subject matter of Lumos is extremely relevant. Harry and the Potters will embark on their first national tour of libraries since 2011 in support of the new album. Lumos was first announced to Harry and the Potters' fans with a Kickstarter campaign on April 23rd, doubling its funding goal within 24 hours of launch.
