The Broadway community mourns the loss of acclaimed director, producer, writer, and performer Mike Nichols, who passed away on Wednesday evening at age 83. The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York were dimmed in his memory on November 21st, at exactly 7:45pm for one minute. The Festival will launch this weekend, September 26 - 28, 2014.

Chinese crossover artist Simon Ma's new world tour exhibition 'Heart • Water • Ink' makes its U.S. premiere in Miami today, July 12 - Oct. 19 at the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University. A tribute to Chinese master artist Xu Beihong, the exhibition is curated by Dr. Carol Damian, Director and Chief Curator of The Frost Art Museum.
