The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to present the Montreal premiere of Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story co-produced by 2b theatre company and the National Arts Centre. Co-created by Hannah Moscovitch, Ben Caplan, and Christian Barry, and starring musician Ben Caplan, this international cult hit is inspired by the real-life love story of Moscovitch's great-grandparents immigration to Canada. It is being presented in association with the St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival.

The NT marks the 100th anniversary of the first women in the UK gaining the right to vote, with a series of rehearsed readings, talks and events, as well as a free exhibition in the Lyttelton Lounge. World-class directors Nadia Fall, Phyllida Lloyd, Jenny Sealey, Lyndsey Turner and Dawn Walton will bring to life five plays on themes of suffrage, courage and the fight for political equality in the UK and around the world.

The 2018/19 season marks the 45th professional season of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil). Our Music Director Jaap van Zweden, acclaimed as "A Great Mahler Interpreter" by D Magazine, continues the Mahler cycle with a project dedicated to this celebratory season - Mahler $200, at which all seats for the Mahler symphonies no. 7 and no. 9 are available at a uniform price of HK$200. Members of the audience can sit somewhere new to enjoy a different acoustical and visual experience.

This fall the Czech Philharmonic embarks on an 11-concert tour of the U.S. led by the Orchestra's Chief Conductor and Music Director Semyon Bychkov, who was appointed in October 2017 following the unanimous invitation of the Orchestra's musicians. The first two concerts of the tour are in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, marking the official beginning of Bychkov's tenure and showcasing the rich musical history and artistic influence of the Czech Republic.

The Edangered Species (theatre) Project presents a fully staged reading of Diana of Dobson's by Cicely Hamilton. A Romantic Comedy of the 'Upstairs/Downstairs turned Upside-Down' variety. Playwright Cicely Hamilton was often compared to George Bernard Shaw and penned the lyrics to The Women's March. The production will play at the Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church on 8 West 2nd Street, in downtown Frederick, MD on October 14 at 4 p.m. and October 16 at 7 p.m.

On October 24, 2018, Founding Music Director & Conductor, Alex Pauk will lead the orchestra and audience on an intergalactic journey, with the opening concert of Esprit Orchestra's 2018-19 season, For Orbiting Spheres. The program features three talented composers from abroad, whose music will transfix listeners, contemplating our place in the cosmos.
