While Wicked spends several weeks in each city, cast members love to take the opportunity to speak to theater and choir classes about their experiences of being in the show and how they got interested in the business in the first place.

The American premiere of CHOIR BOY is co-produced by the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York, where CHOIR BOY opened earlier this month to outstanding reviews. The New York production has been extended twice due to popular demand and will close August 11. CHOIR BOY will run on the Hertz Stage at the Alliance Theatre September 20 - October 13, 2013. Opening night is Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

Howard Hawks, the quintessential Hollywood director known for his mastery of many genres, will be the subject of a complete retrospective at Museum of the Moving Image from today, September 7 through November 10, 2013. The Museum will present 39 features. All of the films will be shown in 35mm-many in stunning restorations-except for Red Line 7000, which will be shown in 16mm.

Each summer America Comes Alive celebrates the 'Dog Days of Summer' with three new true stories of American dogs each week for eight weeks, from service dogs and military dogs to President's dogs and dogs in show business.

Popular Adelaide entertainer, Anya Anastasia, has branched out into a new area by bringing together a selection of acts into a cabaret variety show filled with music, dance, burlesque and more. She has called it Fear-Eater Theatre, which gives an indication that some of the material might be dark, edgy and even a little challenging.

ROSS VALLEY PLAYERS have announced their 2013 - 2014 season for their 84th consecutive year. Among the six plays included in the new season are Pulitzer Prize, and Tony nominees and winners, and a West Coast Premiere.
