Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, announces the cast for the World Premiere of Bruce Graham's Funnyman, kicking off Northlight's 41st Season. The cast includes George Wendt, Tim Kazurinsky, Amanda Drinkall, Steve Haggard, Rob Lindley and an additional role to be announced. Funnyman, directed by BJ Jones and developed through Northlight's Interplay series, runs September 11-October 18, 2015 at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.

Mine is Yours theatre company, now in their second season, is itching to share their first contemporary production with Los Angeles! New Century Theatre Company (NCTC) has announced its dynamic 2015 season will include 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winner The Flick by Annie Baker and the powerhouse family drama Festen by David Eldridge. The Flick will be directed by NCTC Company Member MJ Sieber, who directed David Mamet's The Water Engine at Strawberry Theatre Workshop in 2007. Festen will be directed by Wilson Milam, who has directed for Seattle Repertory Theatre (God of Carnage, Glengarry Glen Ross) and was nominated for a Tony Award for his direction of the 2006 production of Martin McDonagh's The Lieutenant of Inishmore on Broadway.

AstonRep Theatre Company has announced its 2014-15 its new artistic home, The Raven Theatre, 6157 N. Clark St. in Chicago. Theatre Exile closes its 17th season with the Philadelphia premiere of Annapurna, a moving and explosive new play by critically acclaimed, emerging Broadway playwright Sharr White. Driven by the emotionally charged relationship between a husband and wife, Exile's production stars Barrymore Award-winning actors Pearce Bunting (Exile's A Behanding in Spokane, HBO's Boardwalk Empire) and Catharine Slusar (Iron, Any Given Monday) as Ulysses and Emma. The Donmar Warehouse is preparing to transfer both of its critically acclaimed Conor McPherson productions, The Night Alive and The Weir, within the next two months. The Night Alive will make its American premiere at The Atlantic Theater off-Broadway on the 30 November 2013, with The Weir opening at Wyndham's Theatre in the West End on the 16 January 2014.

His short film Six Shooter won an Academy Award in 2006, and he was nominated for an Oscar for best original screenplay for In Bruges, a feature-length film in which two hitmen hide in the Flemish city of Bruges after a problematic job.
