The Lincoln Center Corporate Fund will host An Evening Honoring Leonard A. Lauder on Monday, November 18, at Alice Tully Hall. Leonard A. Lauder, Chairman Emeritus, The Estée Lauder Companies, will receive the Women's Leadership Award for his lifelong dedication to supporting women and his commitment to public and philanthropic service. The event will benefit the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund, which supports Lincoln Center's resident arts organizations.

It's been a good year for Sharon D Clarke. In April, she finished starring in Caroline, or Change, for which she won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Clarke and the show transfer to Broadway next year. In the summer, she was The Lady in Blues in the Night at the Kiln Theatre and she also starred as Linda Loman in Death of a Salesman at the Young Vic. Miller's play, directed by Marianne Elliott and Miranda Cromwell, transfers to the Piccadilly Theatre this autumn.

Loren Hunter is a star! She has dazzled as Liza Minnelli in The Boy from Oz and sizzled as Seymour in Six. Hunter has also had the lucrative opportunity to appear in five world premier productions; Moonshadow, King Kong, Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom The Musical, Georgy Girl - The Seekers Musical and Evie May. Both Hunter and I are WAAPA alumni, so we had a lot of catching up to do when I scheduled our Zoom call. As a Melbournian though, I did find myself envious of her vibrant Brisbane background.

The initiative makes video footage and lesson plans connected to “A MORE PERFECT UNION,” the popular musical in the theater company's 47th season, available to educators, students, and families throughout the nation.

Theatre Passe Muraille, in collaboration with Theatre Mada, presents the Toronto premiere of SUITCASE / ADRENALINE, two one-act shows that bridge together the multidimensional experiences of Syrian refugees. Directed by Majdi Bou-Matar, and starring playwright Ahmad Meree and actress Nada Abusaleh, these intricate pieces encapsulate the struggles of leaving home and searching for belonging in a new world. Suitcase/Adrenaline is playing January 16 to February 1, 2020 at the Theatre Passe Muraille Mainspace Theatre.
