Producers Debbie Bisno, Fox Theatricals and Paula Wagner announced today the Broadway Premiere of GRACE, the acclaimed American play by Award-winning writer Craig Wright (Mistakes Were Made, Recent Tragic Events, Lady; "Six Feet Under"). Grace will premiere in a strictly limited engagement beginning on Friday, September 14, 2012 at a Shubert Theater to be announced. Dexter Bullard (Tracy Letts' BUG) will direct the production, which will feature an all-star cast that includes Paul Rudd and Academy Award® nominee Michael Shannon, with Kate Arrington and seven-time Emmy Award®-winner Edward Asner, who returns to Broadway for the first time in nearly 25 years. Opening Night is set for Thursday, October 4, 2012.

Resident professional theatre company Festival Stage of Winston-Salem will return to downtown's Hanesbrands Theatre for its third season in 2012-13, presenting the Southern comedy The Last Night of Ballyhoo; North Carolina's first production of the drama 33 Variations; and the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Proof. The final production of the current season, Hatchetman, takes place May 11-27.

As the final of three mainstage productions during the two-month Eugene O'Neill Festival spearheaded by Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, Long Day's Journey into Night rounds out this celebration of O'Neill's life and work. The English-born and Canadian-based director and former Stratford Festival Artistic Director Robin Phillips makes his Arena Stage debut to direct his fourth production of this Pulitzer Prize-winning play in a theatrical career spanning more than 50 years.

Platt, will be presented The Commercial Theater Institute's Robert Whitehead Award for "outstanding achievement in commercial theatre producing" at a reception at Sardi's on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre (CityRep) opens their Tenth Anniversary Season with the 1997 Tony Award-winning THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO by Alfred Uhry. This is the second play in what is called Mr. Uhry's Atlanta series. The first was DRIVING MISS DAISY, which CityRep produced in 2004.
