The Theatre Royal Bath Summer Season 2013 offers a season of new in-house productions including Noel Coward's Relative Values, directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Patricia Hodge, Caroline Quentin and Rory Bremner; Candida by Bernard Shaw, directed by Simon Godwin; King Lear directed by Lucy Bailey and starring David Haig; and Feydeau's A Little Hotel on the Side, adapted by John Mortimer and directed by Lindsay Posner and Cal McCrystal.

Kathy Evans, Founder and Executive Director, announced the nine musicals and eighteen writers selected for the third summer of the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat. For nine consecutive weeks beginning June 23rd, each writing team will have an individual weeklong residency in Rhinebeck, New York to write their musical. All costs are fully funded by donors including The ASCAP Foundation, The Dramatists Guild Fund, and The Noel Coward Foundation. Writers include Tony-winners and nominees Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), and Heidi Rodewald and Stew (Passing Strange), and multi-award winners Adam Gwon, Laura Harrington, Joe Iconis, Kait Kerrigan, and Brian Lowdermilk.

Graham Linehan's hilarious adaptation of the classic Ealing comedy The Ladykillers returns to London at The Vaudeville Theatre this summer following its record breaking debut West End season at the Gielgud Theatre in 2011/12 and subsequent UK tour.

Trevor Nunn will direct the Old Vic and Chichester Festival Theatre's production of KISS ME, KATE, with Music and lyrics by Cole Porter and Book by Sam and Bella Spewack, which is scheduled for London performances from tonight, the 20th of November and a Chichester premiere in June.

After a sell out run at the Arts Theatre last Christmas, Simon Callow is back, for a limited season, with his universally acclaimed production of A Christmas Carol: a triumphant tribute to the richness of Dickens' writing and to the story's continuing relevance to Christmases past, present and future.

Matilda the Musical, produced by the RSC and running at the Cambridge Theatre, leads the way with ten nominations - the maximum number of eligible awards for a musical this year. These notably include a collective nomination for Best Actress for all four young actresses who play the title role. Amongst other musical theatre productions Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre and the National Theatre's London Road have five and four nominations respectively.
