Jump For Joy Productions presents Adam Bock's comedy The Drunken City, directed by Misti B. Wills (In Search of Euphoria, New World Stages). The Drunken City will play a limited engagement at The WorkShop Theatre's Mainstage (312 West 36th Street, between 8th and 9th Ave.). Performances begin Friday November 30th (8 p.m.) and continue through Sunday December 16th (2 p.m.).

Tonight, September 14, 2012, Broadway's celebrated revival of John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse's Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO will welcome back Amy Spanger in the starring role of merry murderess Roxie Hart.

Now in its 7th year, The NY Clown Theatre Festival is New York's preeminent annual, international Clown Theatre festival. This year's event includes 34 shows in 24 days with over 150 clown performers from 16 countries including Finland, Mexico, France, New Zealand, and Wales. The festival also features classes taught by world-famous clown teachers, a clown-sourced iPhone-created silent film project and a performance by the co-creator and lead performer of Cirque de Soleil's Ovo! The Brick Theater, Inc. brings the festival back this fall, performing tonight, September 7th-30th at The Brick in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

November features Alley Theatre Resident Actors Jeffrey Bean as President Charles Smith, James Belcher as The Representative of the National Association of Turkey and Turkey Products, Elizabeth Bunch as Clarice Bernstein, David Rainey as Dwight Grackle, and Todd Waite as Archer Brown. As previously announced, the complete 2012 Williamstown Theatre Festival season closes this weekend, August 19, 2012. This season included Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, a Preview Production of the new musical Far From Heaven, and a new translation of Ivan Turgenev's A Month in the Country on the Main Stage, with Lucy Boyle's The Blue Deep, Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Bernard Pomerance's The Elephant Man, and Katori Hall's WHADDABLOODCLOT!!! on the Nikos Stage. The season also included a special workshop production of David Byrne's Here Lies Love, which played at nearby MASS MoCA. Williamstown Theatre Festival will take a look at arguably the most contentious social issue of the 21st Century when the Festival presents a reading of "8" on Monday. Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today the cast and creative team for the one-night-only event, which will be presented on the Main Stage on Monday, August 6 in a staged reading benefitting Broadway Impact and American Foundation for Equal Rights.
