The City of Arvada has announced the hiring of Philip C. Sneed as the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities new Executive Director. The announcement concludes a seven month national search to fill the Center's top position. Sneed who currently serves as the Producing Artistic Director of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival will assume his duties beginning February 4, 2013.

And smoking pot; smoking pot makes anything seem more complex and redolent with hidden meaning and deeper regret than when you're thinking about them straight. I say this from personal experience. The Bergen County Players (BCP), presents IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?, a funny and bittersweet musical with music and lyrics by Craig Carnelia and book by Jeffrey Kindley. Under the direction of Carol Fisher, Is There Life After High School? will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from today May 5th - June 3rd, 2012, with shows at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays.
