Broadway Across Canada announced today that individual tickets for the Winnipeg premiere of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will go on sale Monday December 12 at 10am.

The Orchard announced today that they have acquired rights to HUNTER GATHERER, the debut film from filmmaker Josh Locy.  Rough House Pictures will release the film in theaters in NYC and LA on November 16 with a theatrical rollout to follow. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day have announced a Joe Louis Arena performance on Monday, March 27 at 8 p.m. as part of their "2017 Revolution Radio North American Tour" and locally as part of the "Farewell Season at The Joe". The band is touring in support of their new album Revolution Radio, which was released Friday, October 7 by Reprise Records. Against Me! will provide support.

Set in the mid 1960's, the Broadway Theatre Center production relates to a young woman's journey when her father accidentally disfigured her face and left a traumatic facial scar amid the burgeoning civil rights movement and beginnings of the Vietnam war. When Violet travels from North Carolina to Oklahoma carrying her dream and hope that a faith healer will remove the scar, the young Southern woman encounters various people on her Greyhound bus ride to remind the audience life's miracles arise in multiple forms when the heart opens the eyes and mind and removes the mundane from the material world.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the full company for a major new revival of Tom Stoppard's TRAVESTIES - the first London revival in over 20 years. Patrick Marber directs Clare Foster (Cecily), Freddie Fox (Tristan Tzara), Tom Hollander (Henry Carr), Forbes Masson (Lenin), Peter McDonald (James Joyce), Amy Morgan (Gwendolen), Sarah Quist (Nadya) and Tim Wallers (Bennett).
