George Street Playhouse announced today it will present its 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons at 103 College Farm Road, just off of Route 1 in New Brunswick -- 2 miles from its current home on Livingston Avenue.  Formerly known as the Agricultural Museum of New Jersey, and now owned by Rutgers University, the site will serve as the interim location of the Playhouse for two years as its future home -- the recently announced state-of-the-art performing arts center -- is built on Livingston Avenue.

Jonathan Eaton, longtime Artistic and General Director of Pittsburgh Festival Opera (formerly Opera Theater of Pittsburgh) is taking on a new position in addition to his duties as Artistic Director in Pittsburgh. In August 2107 Eaton will also become the Professor of Music and Margot and Bill Winspear Chair in Opera Studies at the University of North Texas in Dallas, which boasts one of largest and most respected music colleges in the country.

Illustrating its mission to provide global arts for a global community, Flushing Town Hall will bring the world to Queens on Saturday, May 6, when presenting Shanghai Memories: Golden Songs from the 1930s and 1940s.

Wines of South Africa (WOSA) USA (http://www.wosa.us/), the industry assocation which promotes the exports of South African wine, is excited to announce the 2017 #SAWineWeek, a winemaker tour for the regional marketing body. The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, located at The Graduate Center, CUNY, will highlight works from the classical canon of Arab plays on Wednesday, April 19, and present readings of rarely seen plays by Black playwrights on Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23.

After mesmerizing audiences in a sold-out run at the 2015 Panamania Festival, Canadian Stage brings Robert Lepage's critically-lauded 887 back to Toronto for a limited engagement April 7 to 16 at the Bluma Appel Theatre. Written, directed, designed and performed by Quebec theatre visionary Robert Lepage (Needles and Opium, Far Side of the Moon), 887 combines the technical wizardry of his company Ex Machina with a highly-intimate autobiographical foray into the world of memory. Presented in English.
