George Street Playhouse announced today it will present its 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons at 103 College Farm Road, just off of Route 1 in New Brunswick -- 2 miles from its current home on Livingston Avenue. Formerly known as the Agricultural Museum of New Jersey, and now owned by Rutgers University, the site will serve as the interim location of the Playhouse for two years as its future home -- the recently announced state-of-the-art performing arts center -- is built on Livingston Avenue.

Jonathan Eaton, longtime Artistic and General Director of Pittsburgh Festival Opera (formerly Opera Theater of Pittsburgh) is taking on a new position in addition to his duties as Artistic Director in Pittsburgh. In August 2107 Eaton will also become the Professor of Music and Margot and Bill Winspear Chair in Opera Studies at the University of North Texas in Dallas, which boasts one of largest and most respected music colleges in the country.

Wines of South Africa (WOSA) USA (http://www.wosa.us/), the industry assocation which promotes the exports of South African wine, is excited to announce the 2017 #SAWineWeek, a winemaker tour for the regional marketing body. Together with City Winery, WOSA will host events in Chicago (May 2nd), Nashville (May 4th), Atlanta (May 8th) and NYC (May 11th). Artistic Director and Choreographer Adrianna Thompson seeks to engage audiences in a study of two eras, the 1920s and the present. Dance Mission Theatre transforms into a time machine, transporting us back to the 1920s. Glitz and glam sparkle from the dingy corners of a speakeasy. Raucous jazz blares, bringing bejeweled and sequined dancing flapper girls to life. An evening of indulgence has begun. The entry notes of Prince's 'Erotic City' ring in your ears, an echo from another time. Suddenly you notice the writing on the wall. The crash of overindulgence is imminent.
