Berkeley Playhouse at the historic Julia Morgan Theater closes its seventh season with Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Jon Tracy (Berkeley Playhouse: Guys and Dolls, The Pirates of Penzance; Aurora Theatre Company, Shotgun Theatre Company, Marin Theatre Company, Magic Theatre, NY Fringe, San Francisco Playhouse) and choreographed by Matthew McCoy (Berkeley Playhouse: Shrek The Musical, The Music Man; Sixth Street Playhouse, Bay Area Musicals). Fiddler runs from tonight, June 25 to August 2, 2015, with previews tonight, June 25 and Saturday, June 27. Opening Night is June 27 at the Julia Morgan Theater, 2640 College Avenue in Berkeley.

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announces upcoming shows and series confirmed to date for the 2015-2016 season.  The Dr. Phillips Center's anchor season of Broadway Across America and the resident companies of the Orlando Ballet and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will be joined by new series and festivals including the Morgan Stanley Jazz at Dr. Phillips Center subscription series, a Flamenco festival and a Chefs at the Dr. Phillips Center series.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of an exciting new American play, Rich Girl, by acclaimed playwright Victoria Stewart, continuing the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration. Rich Girl will be directed by James Vasquez (Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show), and will play May 23 - June 21, 2015, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for The Old Globe production of William Shakespeare's delightful and romantic Twelfth Night. Rebecca Taichman, whose production of the time-traveling Time and the Conways fascinated audiences last April, is back to direct the first show of the 2015 Summer Shakespeare Festival. The Old Globe engagement will begin performances on June 21 and run through July 26, 2015, with opening night on Saturday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

Lyric Opera of Chicago announced casting for the remaining principal roles in its new production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. Matthew Hydzik will portray Enoch Snow alongside Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick as Jigger Craigin, two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise as Mrs. Mullin, and two-time Tony Award nominee Tony Roberts as the Starkeeper.
