Final Casting Announced To Join Beverley Knight in THE BODYGUARD

As previously announced, Beverley Knight returns to the international hit musical The Bodyguard for a strictly limited six month run West End run to play Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron with Ben Richards as Frank Farmer, Marron's bodyguard. Performances begin at the Dominion Theatre on 15 July 2016 for this strictly limited season to 7 January 2017.

Riant Theatre Announces 2016 Pioneer of the Arts Award Winners

The Riant Theatre (Van Dirk Fisher, Artistic Director), a nonprofit theatre supporting playwrights and theatremakers of diverse cultural backgrounds, is holding the Launch Party for its annual Strawberry One-Act and Theatre Festival on Saturday, June 25, 2016, 3pm at the Poet's Den Theatre (309 East 108th Street, NYC). The evening will include the presentation of 2016 Pioneer of the Arts Award For Outstanding Achievement In Television and Theatre to the Emmy-winning stage, film and TV actor Joe Morton, Tony Nominee and eight time AUDELCO Award winner, Andre De Shields, the acclaimed Broadway and television actress Barbara Montgomery, and multiple Grammy Award winner, Broadway musical director and arranger Chapman Roberts. A reception with food, drinks and dancing will follow. Tickets ($50 before June 15th; $60 after that date) are available through The Riant Theatre's website (www.therianttheatre.com) and by calling the box office at 646-623-3488. Bernhard has written several original productions that have debuted at TUTS and authored the organization's theatrical history book, "Stars In Your Eyes".

Broadway's got the golden ticket! Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Langley Park Productions and Neal Street Productions announced that Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY will open its gates on Broadway in the spring of 2017, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Joshua Bergasse. Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY has music by Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award winner Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award winners Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, and a book by Artistic Director of Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum theatre David Greig. Design team, Broadway theater and dates to be announced soon.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY Opens 3/26 at Berkeley Playhouse

 Berkeley Playhouse at the historic Julia Morgan Theater continues their most acclaimed season yet, with The Addams Family. The show isdirected and choreographed by long time Berkeley Playhouse associate Kimberly Dooley (Berkeley Playhouse's Mary Poppins, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Wiz, Suessical the Musical.). Ben Richards will join previously announced Beverley Knight in the international hit musical The Bodyguard when it returns to the West End for a limited six month run in July this year.  Richards will play Frank Farmer, Rachel Marron's bodyguard, alongside Beverley Knight in the leading role of the Oscar-nominated superstar Marron.   Performances begin at the Dominion Theatre on 15 July 2016 for this strictly limited season to 7 January 2017.

Conducted by Elliot Figg with Art Direction by Sanford Biggers, L'Amant Anonyme begins performances on Saturday, March 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 20.
