Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. The Chicago Public Library Foundation and the Chicago Public Library have announced that the 16th annual Carl Sandburg Literary Award will be presented to legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.
