Theatre for a New Audience has announced the performance schedule, cast and creative team for director Arin Arbus's new staging of Thornton Wilder's comic masterpiece The Skin of Our Teeth, the first major New York production since 1998.

Philadelphia Theatre Company kicks off the new year with the inspiring and warm-hearted Having Our Say, The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years by Emily Mann, adapted from the book by Miss Sarah ("Sadie") L. Delany and Dr. A. Elizabeth ("Bessie") Delany with Amy Hill Hearth.  Running January 27-February 19 and directed by Mary B. Robinson, the cast features Perri Gaffney and Cherene Snow as the two Delany sisters.

Warm up on a cold winter's night with Broadway's hottest couple, Orfeh and Andy Karl in their Feinstein's/54 Below debut, Legally Bound (December 8-14). After love at first sight during the couple's time in Saturday Night Fever on Broadway, then getting married in 2001, this duo has established themselves as individuals and together as a theatre power couple. They famously appeared alongside one another in Legally Blonde, earning Orfeh a Tony nomination for her role as Paulette in 2007. Andy received back to back Tony nods himself, one for his star turn as the title character in Rocky in 2014, and another for his role as Bruce Granit in the Broadway revival of On the Twentieth Century in 2015. He most recently starred as Phil Connors in the West End's Groundhog Day musical, bound for Broadway in 2017. Reuniting together again onstage, Orfeh and Andy Karl will be joined by musical director Steven Jamail for an unforgettable evening of chart-toppers, show-stoppers, and a sprinkling of holiday magic. Directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.

The international hit musical The Bodyguard starring Beverley Knight reprising the role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marronopposite Ben Richards as Frank Farmer, Marron's bodyguard, will complete its run at the Dominion Theatre on 7 January 2017 as previously announced.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey rings in the holiday season with a timeless production of A Child's Christmas in Wales, based on the classic story by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and adapted for the stage by Jeremy Brooks and Adrian Mitchell. The festive show is being revived for the first time since it last appeared on the STNJ stage in 2003, featuring Greg Jackson in the role of Dylan Thomas. Performances begin November 30 and run through January 1 at the F.M. Birdland was a 'scary' place last night as Orfeh and Andy Karl rocked on Halloween night in the Broadway at Birdland concert series!  In their show titled 'Songs from the Crypt' the audience was invited to celebrate the Karls' favorite holiday with some favorite songs. Costumes were encouraged, and there were candy prizes delivered by Andy Karl himself! Their rockin' band included Steven Jamail(Music Director/Pianist), Britt Bonney (Keyboard), Tim Kodres (vocals), Jeremy Yaddaw (Drums), and Micah Burgess (Guitar).

Back in February, BroadwayWorld reported that stage and screen star Kevin Kline would star in The Acting Company's reading presentation of Noel Coward's charming comedy PRESENT LAUGHTER. Now he's taking the show to Broadway, according to the New York Times.  

Rehearsals began today for the Broadway premiere of A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL, the new musical featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo. The show is produced by Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, and Tribeca Productions.
