Craig Bierko and Kate Jennings Grant Join GUYS & DOLLS Cast

Producer Howard Panter for Ambassador Theatre Group and co-producers Tulchin/Bartner/Jenkins, Bill Kenwright, Darren Bagert, and Tom Gregory announced today that Craig Bierko (Tony Award nominee for The Music Man; Scary Movie 4) will star as 'Sky Masterson' and Kate Jennings Grant (Proof) will also star as 'Sarah Brown' in the new Broadway production of the greatest musical comedy GUYS AND DOLLS.

Today Dancap Productions announces the new cast for the Canadian production of JERSEY BOYS. The new cast includes: Derek Krantz as Bob Gaudio, Jeremy Kushnier continuing in the role of Tommy DeVito, Michael Lomenda as Nick Massi, and Jeff Madden in the role of Frankie Valli, plus Timothy Sell in the role of Gyp DeCarlo and Shawn Wright in the role of Bob Crewe. Performances begin Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Toronto Centre for the Arts (5040 Yonge Street).

Today it was announced that GUYS AND DOLLS will open on Broadway for the first time in 17 years in the spring of 2009 at a Nederlander Theatre to be announced. On Wednesday June 11, 2008 the Theatre World Awards for Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut performances during the 2007-2008 theatrical season took place. The awards were presented by former Theatre World Award winners, including: Alec Baldwin (Loot, 1986), Griffin Dunne (Search and Destroy, 1992), Alexander Gemignani (Assassins, 2004), Andrea Martin (My Favorite Year, 1993), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights, 2007), Rosie Perez (References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot, 2001), and B.D. Wong (M. Butterfly, 1988). There were also be performances by former Theatre World Award winners, including: Karen Akers (Nine, 1982), Cheyenne Jackson (All Shook Up, 2005), Carol Lawrence (West Side Story, 1958) and Alice Playten (Henry, Sweet Henry, 1968).
