The Capitol Theatre announces that, due to overwhelming demand, the GRAMMY Award-winning band, The Mavericks, have added a second show on Sunday, December 3 at 7 pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 23 at 10 am. The show on Saturday, December 2 at 8 pm is SOLD-OUT.

Reggae Legend, Beres Hammond, known for his distinctive brand of 'lover's rock', makes his debut at the Capitol Theatre on Friday, August 4 at 8 pm.  Tickets go on sale Friday, June 2 at 10 am.

GRAMMY Award-winning band, The Mavericks, announce a tour in support of the release of Brand New Day. After four sold-out shows at the Capitol Theatre, the Mavericks will return for the fifth time on Saturday, December 2 at 8 pm. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 28 at 10 am and are expected to sell quickly.

White Castle, America's first fast food hamburger chain, debuted its delectable Turkey Sliders, featuring all-natural white meat Butterball turkey burgers, just in time for the holiday season. Highlighting the exclusive Holiday Menu are decadent sides with classic ingredients, including Loaded Sweet Potato Fries, Loaded Fried Green Beans and the refreshing Cranberry Spritzer with Sprite . One lucky winner will receive a three-night trip for two to New York City and the opportunity to meet with a team of Hollywood special effects artists to transform into his or her favorite X-Men character, including a photo shoot to capture the memorable moment.

It's that time of year, and I can't help but wonder if your CD collection and iPod are Tonys ready. It's just a handful of hours until the 70th annual Tony Awards, and New York City and theatre fans across the world are excitedly buzzing about this year's ceremonies which will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 8/7c on CBS. This Broadway season has some exciting contenders in the musical categories, and to get you ready for the big night, I'm recapping the albums you should be listening to (or at least pre-ordering).

With the launch of the second season of OpenICE, a multi-year program to engage new listeners for contemporary music through an outpouring of programming that is free and open to the public, the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) announces the appointment of Ryan Muncy (ICE saxophonist) and Alice Teyssier (ICE flutist/vocalist) as the new Co-Directors of OpenICE. Muncy and Teyssier have been members of ICE since 2014 and, in addition to their musical roles, serve in the capacities of Director of Institutional Giving and Artistic Operations Associate, respectively.
