The full cast is set for the Center Theatre Group / Mark Taper Forum production of "The Price" by Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award and National Medal of Honor-winner Arthur Miller. The penetrating family drama by one of America's greatest dramatists will open the Mark Taper Forum's new season February 11 through March 22, 2015, with the opening set for February 21.

The American Repertory Theater of WNY brings the bewitching timeless classic THE CRUCIBLE by America's Shakespeare, Arthur Miller. This legendary piece of the 1692 Salem witch trials will be presented on October 30th and runs Thursday through Saturday, 7:30 pm at ART in the Box, 16 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo NY 14219. All showtimes are 7:30 pm with ticket prices ranging from $25 general admission ($20 online), $18 student/military veteran ($15 online).

Written by Horton Foote, The Trip To Bountiful is a poignant story of an ageing widow unhappily living with her son and daughter-in-law in a small city apartment. She longs to return to the town of Bountiful where she grew up and finally manages to make the journey, discovering more about her early life and disappointments along the way. Ultimately, she is reconciled to the reality of her present situation and faces the future with peace.

Custom Made Theatre caps its 15th season with Arthur Miller's The Crucible, directed by Stuart Bousel. The Crucible is arguably The Great American Play, a classic story of individuals confronting the corruption within their society and standing up for their convictions under even the direst of circumstances. Custom Made has assembled a cast of 17 to portray the frightening times of 17th Century Salem, Massachusetts. Richard Armitage, Anna Madeley and Samantha Colley are to play John Proctor, Elizabeth Proctor and Abigail Williams in Ya?l Farber's new production at The Old Vic, with previews from Tuesday 24 June. Today in 1964, The Crucible opened at the Belasco Theatre, where it ran for 16 performances. The Crucible is a 1952 play by the American playwright Arthur Miller. It is a dramatization of the Salem witch trials that took place in the Province of Massachusetts Bay during 1692 and 1693. It was first performed at the Martin Beck Theater on Broadway on January 22, 1953. The production won the 1953 'Best Play' Tony Award. It is a central work in the canon of American drama.
