McCarter Theatre Center closes the 2016-2017 Theater Series with a new production of Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel, a story of an African-American seamstress living in 1905 New York City pursuing her dreams of love and independence. Directed by Jade King Carroll, Intimate Apparel will run from May 5 to June 4.

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the continuation of the fourth season of Chicago's hit "lost" musicals in staged concert series, Porchlight Revisits Little Me, music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Carolyn Leigh and book by Neil Simon based on the novel by Patrick Dennis, with direction by Porchlight Artistic Director Michael Weber, musical direction by Linda Madonia, choreography by Craig Miller with special guest choreography by veteran Bob Fosse dancer Jane Lanier and starring Jeff Award-winner Matt Crowle. Porchlight Revisits Little Me is presented for three-nights-only Tuesday, Feb. 28 through Thursday, March 2 at 7:15 p.m. and is performed on the set of Porchlight's The Scottsboro Boys (previews begin Friday, Feb. 3) at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. Tickets for Little Me are $35. All tickets include access to the popular pre-performance event, Behind the Show Backstory, a multimedia presentation, created and hosted by Weber that discusses that evening's production including the show's creative history, backstage gossip and the state of the art on Broadway that season. Halcyon Theatre and A-Squared Theatre are proud to announce casting for the Midwest Premiere of Lloyd Suh's American Hwangap-led by Jeff Award-winner Joseph Anthony Foronda. Helen Young is set to direct the co-production that runsFebruary 24 through April 1 at Halcyon Theatre located in residence at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3253 W. Prince's Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota has announced plans for an enhanced tour experience throughout the month of April, titledPrince4Ever, which will uniquely celebrate and honor the iconic life and legacy of Prince Rogers Nelson as the world marks the first anniversary of his passing. Throughout the entire month, fans visiting Paisley Park will be welcomed into Prince's legendary creative sanctuary to experience new immersive audio-visual content that will bring a heightened sense of presence to Prince throughout the tour experience, showcasing rarely seen video footage, audio clips and artifacts in the exhibition spaces. In addition, fans touring Paisley Park throughout the month will be welcomed to participate in a special photo project honoring Prince. All visitors will be offered a chance to have their photo taken in a special candle-lit setting on-site at Paisley Park.  The photos taken prior to April 21st will be integrated into a special video that will be premiered online on that date. The Prince4EverPaisley Park tour experience will be available exclusively throughout the month of April to fans on both the General Admission and VIP tours. Tickets for scheduled tours in April are available now via the Paisley Park website at OfficialPaisleyPark.com.

Park Square continues its 42nd season on the Proscenium Stage with a Mu Performing Arts and Park Square Theatre co-production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Flower Drum Song, directed by Mu Artistic Director Randy Reyes, based on the 2002 book adaptation by Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang (M. Butterfly, Yellowface, Chinglish).  Previously produced by Mu in 2009, this will be a fully reimagined production featuring new and familiar faces. Flower Drum Song, created by legendary musical theater duo Rodgers and Hammerstein takes audiences to the vibrant world of San Francisco's Chinatown in the 1950s to Club Chop Suey, a nightclub owned by a Chinese-American family. Old World tradition clashes with New World trends as two generations, father and son, struggle to honor and protect their cultural traditions while adapting to the changing times.
