Seattle Theatre Group (STG) announces the following concerts going on sale this week.

The Pacific Symphony launches an exciting 2012-13 Pops season starring big-name guest artists, spectacular shows and some of the most treasured songs and genres of our time. From the "Empress of Soul," Gladys Knight, to Broadway showstoppers, the "Wicked Divas.'

The 2012-2013 season features six productions opening with Catch Me If You Can, a splashy new musical inspired by the blockbuster DreamWorks film that recounts the true story of a teenager who runs away from home with nothing more than his boyish charm, a big imagination and millions of dollars in forged checks, October 23 - 28, 2012. Prepare to take flight in an all new production of Peter Pan filled with timeless magical moments and a captivating hook, December 4-9, 2012. The legend you thought you knew, is now the adventure you never dreamed possible. Tony Award nominee Cathy Rigby carries off the flights, fights and acrobatics that will leave you mesmerized.

Nigel Redden, Director of Lincoln Center Festival, today announced the Festival's line-up, which runs from July 5 through August 5, 2012. Single tickets go on sale on April 2. Theater offerings include Mikhail Baryshnikov in Dmitry Krymov's staging of a new play, In Paris, as well as Sydney Theatre Company's acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya directed by Tamas Ascher and adapted by Andrew Upton. The stellar cast includes John Bell, Cate Blanchett, Hayley McElhinney, Richard Roxburgh, and Hugo Weaving.

Making Books Sing (MBS), the New York-based non-profit that promotes children's literacy and social development through arts-in-education programs and professional theatre productions, will present the Off-Broadway premiere of the family musical THE BUTTERFLY - with book and lyrics by Barbara Zinn Krieger and music by Charles Greenberg - with previews beginning April 14 prior to an official press opening of April 15 at Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street) in Manhattan. Brad Malow will direct and music direction is by Tim Rosser.

The Highline Ballroom has announced upcoming shows for March 12th through April 12th. All shows will take place at the Highline Ballroom at 431 West 16th Street between 9th Avenue and 10th Avenue. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust will present the multi-talented ARLO GUTHRIE on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. at the Byham Theater. Folk veteran Arlo Guthrie returns to his roots, performing time-honored classics as well as many deep album cuts from a career spanning more than 40 years. Arlo Guthrie has long been a crowd favorite, blending humorous, philosophical reflections with folk-rock hits and brilliantly-crafted new works. Arlo Guthrie along with his son Abe Guthrie, grandson Krishna Guthrie and drummer Terry 'a la Berry' Hall form the Boys' Night Out band, offering synergistic and familial support for a dynamic live performance. This performance is a part of the 2011-2012 Trust Presents series, sponsored by Cohen and Grigsby.

A memorial celebration of Broadway producer Randall L. Wreghitt's life will be held at the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street) on Thursday, September 15th at 1PM. The memorial is open to the public and doors open at 12:30pm.

Hockadoo! The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS announced today that Broadway veteran Adam Pascal will join the cast of MEMPHIS as 'Huey Calhoun.' Pascal will begin performances on Tuesday, October 25th. Chad Kimball will play his final performance on Sunday, October 23rd. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Kimball recently suffered nerve damage in his neck as a result of performing the demading role he created on Broadway nearly two years ago and has had to miss several performances of late.
