Nikki M. James, Tony winner for her role in THE BOOK OF MORMON, is currently featured on O Magazine's Wow List, where she shared career advice, and how she made it to the Great White Way. On turning down a season at Stratford Shakespeare Festival, James revealed: 'There was no guarantee that another job was going to come, but my family needed me. That's when I realized there are more important things than being on a stage. A year later, I'm a Tony Award winner and my nephew is getting a new kidney!'

The Actors Fund announced today that the Special Benefit Performance of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 7 at 1 pm. The Special Benefit Performance of THE BOOK OF MORMON was originally scheduled for Sunday, August 28, but was cancelled due to the shutdown of Broadway theatres during Hurricane Irene.

THE BOOK OF MORMON is featured on NPR's All Things Considered. Tony winning co creator, Trey Parker recently spoke to NPR correspondent Jeff Lunden about the album's success and a cast album cracking Billboard's top 10 chart for the first time since Hair in 1969.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are planning on bringing their Tony Award-winning musical to the big screen. Parker told EW: 'Hopefully it will have a big run and a big tour and then we can do the movie in several years.'

Denver Center Attractions launches the much-anticipated national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, at The Ellie Caulkins Opera House August 14 - September 2, 2012. Originally slated to run in December of 2012 at The Buell Theatre, the show comes months earlier to the delight of audiences.

Songwriter Robert Lopez won the Tony Award in 2004 for his AVENUE Q score. Now, he's written the score to another Broadway hit - THE BOOK OF MORMON. The Broadway company of 'The Book of Mormon' has announced that they will add an additional performance to their schedule in order to perform a benefit 'Special Performance' on Sunday, August 28 at 8 pm. All proceeds will go to The Actors Fund.
