Grammy-winning, British singer-songwriter Elvis Costello may have gotten his start on the '70s New Wave scene but he's been ever-changing, ever-challenging ever since. Named one of '100 Greatest Artists of All Time' by Rolling Stone, Costello will make a Jorgensen debut on his new East Coast tour tonight, Nov. 21, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. The November tour is his first set of headlining solo dates in a decade.

Columbia Children's Theatre (CCT), the Midlands only professional theatre for families and young audiences is thrilled to present Columbia's NiA Company and their production of Br'er Rabbit October 18 - 20. Show times are Friday at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. All shows are held at Columbia Children's Theatre on the 2nd level of Richland Mall, 3400 Forest Drive. Tickets are $12.00 for children three years of age through adult and $10.00 for seniors and active military with ID. Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini and leading Australian theatre producer John Frost today announced the principal cast for Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic Broadway musical The King and I. Lisa McCune and Teddy Tahu Rhodes will co-star in the Tony Award-winning Australian production, which is being revived next year by the Gordon Frost Organisation and Opera Australia.

New York Live Arts begins the 2013-14 Studio Series work-in-process showings with Elena Demyanenko and Dai Jian's collaborative work, Blue Room, tonight and tomorrow, October 4th and 5th at 6:00pm, in the third floor studios at New York Live Arts. A 2013-14 Dance Theater Workshop Commissioning Fund Commission, the Studio Series showing of Blue Room will precede the world premiere of the complete work to be shown in New York Live Arts' Theater in February 2014.
