A total of 35 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus this month to participate in the first-ever Johnny Mercer Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing more than twenty new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced that legendary entertainer Regis Philbin will return as the special guest host of 'Bing Crosby Christmas Radio,' a limited-run holiday channel celebrating Crosby's life and legacy by airing his beloved, classic radio broadcasts from 1942 -1962 brimming with celebrity guests and musical performances, plus a rare recording of Crosby reciting the iconic poem 'The Night Before Christmas.' Original Broadway cast member Jared Gertner will star as Elder Cunningham in the First National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, launching in Denver from August 14-September 2 at The Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Gertner will join previously announced Gavin Creel as Elder Price. Samantha Marie Ware joins as Nabulungi, as well as Grey Henson as Elder McKinley and Kevin Mambo as Mafala Hatimbi.

Pine Box Theater Company kicks off its 2012 Season with THE JAMMER by Rolin Jones, directed by Artistic Director Vincent Teninty, playing now through July 1, 2012 at the Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave., Chicago. THE JAMMER features Pine Box Ensemble Members Josh Odor and Greg Rothman with Bill Bannon, Sara Gorsky, Kersten Haile, Amy Jean Johnson, Michael Kevin Martin, Miguel Nunez, Levenix Riddle and Eliza Shin.
