The Beaches Will Embark on North American Tour This Fall

Canadian rock darlings The Beaches have announced their fall North American headlining tour to follow up their West Coast dates with girl in red. Along with the tour announcement, The Beaches also are celebrating one year since the release of 'Blame Brett' with a remix of the song featuring a new verse from electropunk hitmaker and current touring mate of Avril Lavinge, Royal & the Serpent. Bella White Releases Cover of Ted Lucas' 'I'll Find A Way (To Carry It All)'

Singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Bella White has released a stunning rendition of Ted Lucas’ “I’ll Find A Way (To Carry It All).” The track was produced by Grammy-nominee Jonathan Wilson, who produced White’s highly praised 2023 album Among Other Things. Bella White is currently on tour, with support dates opening for Ashley McBryde, The Teskey Brothers, Tyler Childers and Dierks Bentley. Listen to her new single!

Review: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Southern Arkansas University Magnolia

LA is presenting Broadway Bound: Songs & Scenes from Tony Award-Winning Musicals, a new jukebox musical created and directed by Laurie Grant, featuring Rex & Friends, all extraordinary musicians with different disabilities and perfect pitch. Rex & Friends will take you on a fantastic trip of a young man hearing Broadway music for the first time, featuring songs and scenes from acclaimed musicals that you know and love. The show opens May 3rd and runs through May 18th at The Blue Door in Culver City, CA. I decided to speak with Laurie about the creation and history of Rex & Friends, her experience working with people with disabilities, what motivated her to create this new jukebox musical, and the format for the show.

Earlier this season, Theatre 29 announced the desert debut of the Off-Broadway musical “Disenchanted” as part of their 2023-24 season. Playwright Will Arbery is an American playwright, screenwriter and TV writer, known for his plays Heroes of the Fourth Turning, Plano, and Evanston Salt Costs Climbing. Heroes of the Fourth Turning was a finalist for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and will be presented in Wagner College Theatre's Stage One venue next May as part of the 2024-25 season.
