STG Presents Tegan And Sara 7/3

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents Tegan and Sara on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 8:00pm at Showbox at the Market.

Originally from Calgary, AB Canada, twin sisters, Tegan and Sara Quin have developed an international cult following that is tipping carefully into the mainstream. Their last studio album, The Con, was released worldwide in 2007 through SIRE/Warner and was supported with sold out concerts and festival appearances through to 2009.

Their catalog has been widely covered (including a 2005 version of Walking with a Ghost by The White Stripes) and used in major film and teleVision Productions (7 song uses to date on Grey's Anatomy alone). Their last two albums - The Con and So Jealous - have both been certified Gold in Canada.

Seattle Theatre Group is the 501 (c)(3) non-profit arts organization that operates the historic Paramount and Moore Theatres in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is  to make diverse performing arts and education an integral part of our region's cultural identity while keeping these two landmark venues alive and vibrant. STG  presents a range of performances from Broadway, off-Broadway, dance and jazz to comedy, concerts of all genres, speakers and family shows - at both historic theatres in Seattle and venues throughout the Puget Sound and Portland, Oregon.
