The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams' much loved, absurdist and subversive satire, is presented in a vibrant, fast paced, gender-bending production directed by Madeleine Dahm, from Thursday, June 14 through Sunday, June 17, 2018, including a Science Fiction Costume Night on June 16, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in the Lovelace Studio Theater. After its first appearance as a radio play originally produced by BBC 4 Radio in 1978, Adams' work quickly became a worldwide cult classic celebrated for its sharp wit and ironic style. Dahm's version at The Wallis integrates puppetry, stylized movement, miniature sets and live music to bring the timely political satire to life.

Oleg Frish, the colorful and personable singer, is touring the U.S. in 2018 in a show titled Swing Around The World. Known as the "Human Jukebox" and a "Songapedia" because of his encyclopedic knowledge of music of the 1940-80 era, Oleg Frish is an entertaining and charming singer who performs swing classics, jazz standards, tunes from the rock & roll and disco eras, and songs from his native Russia. He not only sings in English and Russian but occasionally in Spanish, Italian, French, Ukrainian, Japanese, German, Swedish, Polish and Yiddish, swinging all the time.

Mariss Jansons to Conduct Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall

Chief Conductor Mariss Jansons returns with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra for two back-to-back concerts this May in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. On Friday, May 4 at 8:00 p.m., the orchestra performs Rossini'sWilliam Tell Overture; Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Op. 19, featuringFrank Peter Zimmermann; and Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, Op. 55, 'Eroica.' The following evening, Saturday, May 5 at 8:00 p.m., the orchestra and Maestro Jansons perform Mahler's massive Symphony No. 7 in E Minor.

400 members of Seattle Men's Chorus (SMC) and Seattle Women's Chorus (SWC) join together in song at McCaw Hall for Not In Our Town on April 7, 2018 at 8pm and April 8, 2018 at 2pm.  New York-based comedian and YouTube sensation Randy Rainbow is making his Seattle debut as the special guest for both performances. The 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas event in America, announces the 2017 talent lineup for its landmark anniversary celebration, which will take place on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, on Sunday, November 26, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. PT. With Dr. Oz as Grand Marshal, musical performances will be featured during the parade, and national telecast, and will include the following artists: a special 40th Anniversary performance by The Village People, CeeLo Green, Ruben Studdard, The Band of Merrymakers featuring Tyler Glenn (Neon Trees), Zach Barrett (American Authors), Jeremy Ruzumna (Fitz & The Tantrums) and Kay Hanley (Letters to Cleo), Nickelodeon star Breanna Yde of School of Rock, American Idol winner from Season 14, Nick Fradiani, Tom Dixon and The Tearaways.
