In 1998, Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner became the first actresses ever nominated together for a Best Actress Tony Award, for their performance as the conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton in the original Broadway production of 'Side Show.' This week, September 1 & 2 at 7:00 PM, Mark Cortale will reunite the two heralded stars of that musical for his ground-breaking Broadway @ The Art House series in Provincetown, featuring SiriusXM Star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host.

The 69th Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 7th at 8/9c hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long award season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. Beautiful City Theatre, in collaboration with Virtu'O, produces the contemporary rock musical NEXT TO NORMAL opening tonight, May 15, 2015 at Centaur Theatre (453 rue St. Francois-Xavier) in Montreal, Quebec. The multiple Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical will run for two weekends, from May 15 - 17, and May 21 - 23, 2015. Evening performances will start at 7:30 PM and matinees on Sunday May 17th and Saturday May 23rd at 1:30 PM.

Community and collaboration are the watchwords of Bristol Riverside Theatre's production of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, running tonight, May 12-May 31. Co-directed by Susan D. Atkinson and Amy Kaissar, the high-voltage drama, which concludes BRT's Mainstage Season, features an ensemble of professional actors Keith Baker, Kevin Bergen, Mark Collmer, Brian Brillinger, Laura Giknis, Marc LeVasseur, Shamus Hunter McCarty, P. Brendan Mulvey and Sabrina Proffitt performing alongside Bucks County community members. The production is supported in part by a generous grant from PECO.

Chris Isaacson Presents and Upright Cabaret have announced the final concerts of Molly Ringwald's West Coast Tour on Sunday, March 8 at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood. The tour, which has included more than 160 performances in seven countries and is now on its way home to Los Angeles with upcoming appearances in San Francisco, San Diego, and Palm Springs, will play two shows at Catalina at 7pm and 9:30pm.

SAN FRANCISCO, January 20 - 2-time Tony and 2-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Patti LuPone brings her new concert Far Away Places to San Francisco on Monday, February 23 at Davies Symphony Hall. Joined by her five-piece band, LuPone's performance features renditions of songs by an eclectic list of songwriters including Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Willie Nelson, Kurt Weill, Edith Piaf, Frederick Hollander, and the Bee Gees. The original live show of Far Away Places opened the Manhattan music venue 54 Below in 2012, a live recording of which was released in 2013.
