Amazon Studios today announced the first group of series regulars set to star in the new Amazon Original series based on stories from the iconic 'The Lord of the Rings' novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. San Diego Opera's 2019-2020 mainstage season continues with Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, which opens on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2020 season, which opens June 15 with Kander and Ebb's internationally-acclaimed Chicago. Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced casting for Artistic Director SIMON GODWIN's directorial debut at the Theatre-a restaging of his recent acclaimed production of Timon of Athens, a co-production with Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA), produced in association with The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). Timon of Athens will be onstage at the Michael R. Klein Theatre at the Lansburgh starting February 20 and running until March 22, 2020.

The Rubin Museum of Art has announced its first exhibition of 2020, 'Measure Your Existence,' a new group show organized by guest curator of contemporary art, Christine Starkman.
