There they found two women ostracized from their community, hanging on to reality by a thread, and surrounded by dozens of cats and raccoons. Grey Gardens, the Musical examines both the back-story of this fascinating family and the fate they couldn't possibly have imagined. It was the first musical on Broadway ever to be adapted from a documentary.

International theatre producer David King has announced that the singer-songwriter, actor and winner of hit TV shows Dancing on Ice, Dancing on Ice - All Stars, and Get Your Act Together, Ray Quinn, will be joining the UK Tour of JUDY - THE SONGBOOK OF JUDY GARLAND. Ray was runner up in The X- Factor in 2006, with his debut album going straight to number one in the UK charts, and has starred in many West End musicals including Legally Blonde and Dirty Dancing.

Inspired by the classic Victor Hugo novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame has a book by Peter Parnell, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is directed by Scott Schwartz and choreographed by Chase Brock.

The Off-Broadway League has announced details for the 2015 Lucille Lortel Awards, which will celebrate 30 years of recognizing Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The 30th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the NYU Skirball Center, beginning at 7:00 PM EST. The program will be co-hosted by Emmy Award Nominees Jesse Tyler Ferguson ("Modern Family") and Anna Chlumsky ("Veep," Broadway's upcoming "Living on Love").

Academy Award winner Helen Mirren will return to Broadway this spring as Elizabeth II in Peter Morgan's The Audience, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Stephen Daldry. The Public Theater welcomes Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff to the cast of HAMILTON as 'King George' tonight, March 3. Groff, who performed in The Public's recent revival of Hair as well as The Bacchae and The Singing Forest, is replacing Brian d'Arcy James, who will be starring in Something Rotten on Broadway this spring.

Continuing its 2014-15 Script in Hand playreading series featuring women playwrights, Westport Country Playhouse will present Pearl Cleage's humorous and gripping "Flyin' West," on Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m. Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.
