The New York Philharmonic will present a semi-staged production of Kern & Hammerstein's Tony Award-winning musical Show Boat, November 5 - 8, 2014. Vanessa Williams will star as Julie, Julian Ovenden will star as Gaylord Ravenal, and Lauren Worsham will star as Magnolia, all in their Philharmonic debuts. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Coeurage Theatre Company, LA's 'Pay What You Want' Company, has announced Art in the Park, a special event for kids and families today, May 17 at 6pm prior to the 8:00 curtain for that evening's performance. Art in the Park is being held in conjunction with the critically acclaimed Coeurage production of David Saar's The Yellow Boat. Directed by Joseph V. Calarco, the play's engagement runs through Today, May 25 only.

Coeurage will also host a Hemophilia Day Carnival on May 17 prior to that evening's performance. (More details on the Carnival will be announced at a later date.) Written by David Saar and directed by Joseph V. Calarco, The Yellow Boat will play one preview performance tonight, April 18 at 8pm and opens on Saturday, April 19 at 8pm at GTC Burbank.
