Hartford Stage announced today the cast and creative team for the sold-out world premiere of Rear Window, adapted for the stage by Keith Reddin, and directed by Hartford Stage Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak, from October 22- November 15.

Tribeca Film has acquired North American rights to award-winning thriller No Rest for the Wicked (No habra paz para los malvados), which is currently screening as part of Fantastic Fest in Austin. The film was the big winner at the most recent Goya Awards. Tribeca Film plans a December release for the film.

Helen Hayes Award winner and former Arena Stage Associate Artistic Director Kyle Donnelly returns to direct the D.C.-area premiere of the show with a cast that features Tony Award nominee and two-time Helen Hayes Award winner Helen Carey (Mary Tyrone in Arena Stage's Long Day's Journey into Night, Broadway's Hedda Gabler) as matriarch Polly Wyeth and two-time Tony Award nominee Larry Bryggman (Broadway's Harvey, CBS's As the World Turns) as patriarch Lyman Wyeth. South Coast Repertory is reviving Donald Margulies' Sight Unseen, an SCR-commissioned play that had its world premiere here 20 seasons ago. It will run March 11- April 1 on the Julianne Argyros Stage.

The World Premiere of playwright Paul Fontana's Resurrection of the Ants, directed by Gary Wolf and produced by Michael Abramson (Jekyll and Hyde), opens Friday June 21st at The Hayworth: Upper Level in Los Angeles (2511 Wilshire Blvd. 90057). The forthcoming Broadway production REAR WINDOW has found its creative team in playwright Keith Reddin(Too Much Memory, Life and Limb) and director Terry Kinney (reasons to be pretty, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). The play will be adapted from Cornell Woolrich's original short story, the iconic and haunting tale of the wheelchair-bound witness to a possible murder in his neighboring New York City apartment.
