It was announced today that the Broadway production of Shakespeare's timeless love story ROMEO AND JULIET, starring international film star Orlando Bloom in his Broadway debut opposite two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad, will play two weeks past its originally announced 14-week limited Broadway engagement - with a final performance set for Sunday, December 8, 2013, after 27 previews and 93 regular performances at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street).

The Richard Rodgers Theatre Box Office (226 West 46th Street) opens today at 10:00am EST for the new Broadway production of Shakespeare's ROMEO AND JULIET, starring international film star Orlando Bloom and two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad as the titular star-crossed lovers, and directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux. The opening of the box office also marks the launch of the production's Student Ticket Program; in order to make this production accessible to all, 100 tickets per performance will be set aside at $20 for students and educators.

Tony Award-winning actor Brent Carver returns to Broadway this August, to play Friar Laurence in the new Broadway production of Shakespeare's timeless love story ROMEO AND JULIET, starring international film star Orlando Bloom and Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad as Shakespeare's titular star-crossed lovers.
