The dancers, musicians and singers of Forever Flamenco have been delighting Fountain Theatre audiences for over two decades with the intensity, precision and exhilaration for which flamenco is known. Now Forever Flamenco returns to the outdoor stage at the Ford Theatres with this passionate expression of Spanish culture. A roster of internationally renowned flamenco artists will pay tribute to Los Angeles flamenco pioneer Roberto Amaral on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 8:30 p.m. at the Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood.

The 2014 Marin County Fair, themed The Happiest Fair On Earth, will be the place to be over July 4th weekend with more family fun than ever before! The fair, which attracts more than 120,000 attendees over its five day run, takes place at the Marin County Fairgrounds in San Rafael, Wednesday, July 2 through Sunday, July 6. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the full lineup of productions, concerts, readings and special events for its 11th annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 7th and continue through July 27th.

The beloved ballet tells the story of a little girl named Clara who is given a magical nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. She encounters the frightful King Rat before embarking on a wondrous journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Young and old alike will experience the many special effects, including the Christmas tree which 'grows' to 40 feet, 200 pounds of 'snow' falling during the snow scene, and the firing of cannon onstage. Houston Ballet will give 34 performances of The Nutcracker, to a live orchestra, in the Brown Theater at Wortham Theater Center in downtown Houston. As Anna drowns herself in the sensuality of food and sex, Carl becomes involved in a wild Third Mannish espionage scheme to find a cure for his sister. But the cracks in the story start to widen and soon the audience becomes aware that they are engaged in Anna's fantasy attempt at keeping her brother's spirit alive when she cannot save his life.

Let's hear it for the ladies of horror: those evil, tormented women, who have been inhabited by the devil or perhaps chased by a crazed lunatic wielding a deadly chainsaw. Fear not, your nightmares have been answered as EPIX and FEARnet have partnered to present 'Maidens of Mayhem,' a week-long festival of horror films featuring possessed ladies and the men/women and other entities who love them - or want to kill them. The festival begins on FEARnet today, October 14th and moves to EPIX on Thursday, October 17th with a special presentation of the original Carrie (1976) starring Sissy Spacek on the eve of the latest film adaptation of the Stephen King novel, starring Chlo?
