Today, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre announced that Jeffrey Holland will lead the cast of its first in-house production in almost 40 years. Jeffrey will play ex-miner and veteran conductor of Grimley Band, Danny in BRASSED OFF, from Wednesday 23 August - Saturday 2 September 2017.

The Tempest, the last of William Shakespeare's great romances, will close out Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's run at their theater on Race Street. The production, running April 28 - May 20, 2017, will be co-directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips and Associate Artistic Director Sara Clark, and Director of Creative Education and Outreach Jeremy Dubin. The production will feature founding company member Nicholas Rose as Prospero. The production is generously sponsored by Barnes Dennig, LPK, PNC, Towne Properties, and Murphy Landen Jones PLLC. The season is sponsored by The Otto M. Budig Family Foundation, ArtsWave, and the Ohio Arts Council.

Lincoln Center's acclaimed American Songbook series returns for its 18th season of celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. During February and March 2016, established and rising singers and singer-songwriters across a range of genres-Southern soul, bluegrass, folk, R&B, indie rock, pop, musical theater, and more-will take The Appel Room stage for concerts that explore the many iterations of American song. Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Emmy Award-winning actor Tom Skerritt will make his Broadway debut in A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. Skerritt will portray Lucien Wilbanks, the mentor to protagonist Jake Brigance (played by Sebastian Arcelus), in this thrilling, iconic courtroom drama. Skerritt joins the previously announced Sebastian Arcelus, Chike Johnson, Patrick Page, Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins, Fred Dalton Thompson, John Douglas Thompson, and Ashley Williams plus Dashiell Eaves, J.R. Horne, John Procaccino, Tijuana Ricks, and Lee Sellars. Casting is now complete.

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of THE MISANTHROPE, which is set to open on the West End with previews beginning December 7th. As previously announced, the cast will include Tara Fitzgerald, Keira Knightley, Damian Lewis, Tim McMullan, and Dominic Rowan. Joining the cast will be Chuk Iwuji, Kelly Price, and Nicholas Le Prevost. Directed by Thea Sharrock, the play opens at the Comedy Theatre on December 17.
