Downtown Urban Theater Festival (DUTF) announced its 14th Annual Season today which will feature 19 productions from March 8 to April 2, 2016. The season includes 17 new theatrical works to be presented at Here's Dorothy B. Williams Theatre and two solo works, Joe Gulla's The Bronx Queen and Ella Turenne's Love, Locs & Liberation, at Joe's Pub at The Public. The festival kicks off with a special performance by Corey Glover, acclaimed actor and two-time Grammy award-winning lead singer of the band Living Colour, on March 4 at Joe's Pub.

The musical will open WaterTower Theatre's 2015-2016 Season on Monday, October 5, 2015 (with previews tonight, October 2, Saturday, October 3, and a Gala Preview performance on Sunday, October 4). Kate Galvin, Associate Producer at the 11th Hour Theatre Company in Philadelphia, will direct. CREEP is produced by Terry Martin.

SubCulture presents Quattro Mani, the stellar piano duo of Susan Grace and Steven Beck in a marvelous program featuring music by Fred Lerdahl, John Novacek, Mozart, Chopin and Saint-Sae?ns. Originally comprised of Susan Grace and Alice Rybak, Steven Beck has joined Ms. Grace following Ms. Rybak's retirement. The producers of the hit musical CINDERELLA on Broadway announce new cast members who will join the company in the coming weeks: starting January 28, Joe Carroll begins performances as Prince Topher, taking over the role from original cast member and Tony Award nominee Santino Fontana, who concludes his year-long run in the musical. Also beginningJanuary 28, Todd Buonopane will replace original cast member Greg Hildreth as the rebel Jean-Michel; and CINDERELLA ensemble member Stephanie Gibson will replace Marla Mindelle as stepsister Gabrielle. On January 21, Tony Award winner Victoria Clark will return as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother Marie, which she originated and for which she received a Tony Award nomination. Tony nominee Rebecca Luker has performed the role of Marie since September.

Produced and created by Bobby Cronin, INSPIRED is a benefit concert series for animal rescue organizations across the country that will play every other month, with a rotating line-up of some of today's exciting musical theatre writers in a casual and intimate setting as they sit behind the piano and, unlike traditional concerts of their material, perform songs by other writers that have inspired their work. The INSPIRED series hopes to spread the word about the 2.7 million adoptable animals that are euthanized each year in America.
