Prolific stage artist and Tony nominee Lonny Price last directed Broadway's LADY DAY AT EMERSON'S BAR & GRILL, starring Audra McDonald. The show is soon headed to London and will air on HBO. Among his other directorial credits are 110 IN THE SHADE, MASTER HAROLD...AND THE BOYS, URBAN COWBOY, A CLASS ACT (for which he penned the book; the show earned him a Tony nod in 2001), and SALLY MARR...AND HER ESCORTS (which he also wrote), as well as SUNSET BOULEVARD in the West End, many off-Broadway productions, the New York Philharmonic's CAMELOT in 2008, and an acclaimed concert production of COMPANY in 2011. As an actor, he has tread the boards in Broadway's BURN THIS, BROADWAY, RAGS, MASTER HAROLD...AND THE BOYS, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG -- in which he originated the role of 'Charley Kringas' -- and THE SURVIVOR, and off-Broadway's FALSETTOLAND, ROOM SERVICE, ROMMEL'S GARDEN, UP FROM PARADISE and CLASS ENEMY.
