Pauline McLynn (Father Ted, Shameless, EastEnders) will play Ella Khan in Ayub Khan Din's critically-acclaimed play East is East, which was part of Jamie Lloyd's second Trafalgar Transformed season, directed by Sam Yates, on a 16 week National Tour from 11 June 2015, commencing at Theatre Royal, Brighton. East is East is designed by Tom Scutt, with lighting by Richard Howell and sound and music by Alex Baranowski.

Palo Alto Players held its third annual Season Announcement party on January 31, unveiling the shows for its 2015-16 season - as well as a new logo! Managing Director Diana Lynn Wiley and Artistic Director Patrick Klein worked with Joey McDaniel to create the new public face of Palo Alto Players. "Joey is a great friend of Palo Alto Players," said Wiley. "Audience members would recognize him from his role as Igor in last season's Young Frankenstein, and he's also playing Uncle Fester in our upcoming production of The Addams Family. We're happy to share another dimension of his wonderful artistry, and are so excited to be able to keep our logo redesign in the family."

NJPAC's 2015–16 Bank of America Classical Music Series to Feature London Symphony, Joshua Bell & More

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), the premier presenter of classical music in the State of New Jersey since its inaugural season in 1997, today announced its 2015-16 Bank of America Classical Music Series, a unique season of exhilarating performances including a pair of Europe's most distinguished orchestras - the London Symphony under the baton of Valery Gergiev joined by pianist Yefim Bronfman and the Paris' Orchestre National de France conducted by Daniele Gatti with violinist Julian Rachlin. Two of the classical world's most eminent violinists will assume the role of both conductor and soloist with esteemed European orchestras - Joshua Bell returns to Prudential Hall to perform the Tchaikovsky concerto and conduct the Academy of St Martin in the Fields; and Pinchas Zukerman leads the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and performs the Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5. Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony also perform with pianist Inon Barnatan playing Copland's Piano Concerto. And, the virtuoso pianist Lang Lang returns to NJPAC after four seasons to perform an exclusive New Jersey recital in Prudential Hall.

While both plays spoke to the times in which they were first produced - Weimar Germany and Elizabethan England, respectively-they also speak to this season's theme of REVOLUTION, most especially from a socio-political point of view.

Cincinnati's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Aronoff Center stage on March 31 for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Sunday, April 26. The show's 8-week premiere engagement in 2003 played a sold-out run at the Aronoff Center.
