Rehearsals for the Broadway- bound production of Noel Coward's PRIVATE LIVES starring Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross begin in London this Monday August 22. Directed by Richard Eyre, PRIVATE LIVES will play at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) with previews beginning on Sunday November 6 and opening night set for Thursday November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5 2012. Prior to Broadway, PRIVATE LIVES will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre.

The New York Post reports this morning that at long last, the former Times Square Theater, which has stood vacant for nearly two decades on 42nd Street, may get a new lease on life. The 30,000 square foot space, which is located at 217 W. 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues, will become what will be known as Broadway 4D, a multimedia venue which allegedly an insider describes as'a kind of Las Vegas version of Broadway past and present.'

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its popular annual summer tradition of family theatre under the stars with a new translation/adaptation of Carlo Goldoni's comedy The Servant of Two Masters. Performances begin on June 23 and continue through August 1. Performances are Tuesdays through Sundays at 8:15pm at the outdoor amphitheatre on the campus of the College of St. Elizabeth, 2 Convent Road in Morris Township.

For the first time in 15 years, a work by Nobel Prize winner Harold Pinter will be presented on The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Main Stage. Beginning on August 11 and continuing through August 29, Pinter's 1975 modern classic No Man's Land, directed by artistic director Bonnie J. Monte, will run at the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre.
