In 2015, Stephen Petronio Company culminated its 30th anniversary 2014-15 season with a transformation: the launch of Bloodlines. This five-year autobiographical project not only honors the lineage of American postmodern dance, but also traces the influences and impulses that have shaped choreographer Stephen Petronio, an artist uniquely positioned to preserve this postmodern tradition. Premiere dates for the third season of Bloodlines, along with additional touring, will be announced soon.

World Music Institute announces the fall and winter portion of the 2016-17 Season. In its second season under Artistic Director Par Neiburger and Executive Director Gaby Sappington, WMI will be curating a uniquely wide range of world music, from traditional and folkloric to the experimental and avant-garde.

The great musician Corky Hale needs no introduction. She and her husband composer Mike Stoller have worked with everyone in the music business including Sinatra and Steisand. Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the reopening in January 2016 of its signature theatre space in downtown Berkeley, following nine months of renovation. The Alliance Theatre is pleased to announce the three artistic projects chosen for development during its second annual Reiser Atlanta Artists Lab.
