Hedgerow Theatre launches its 88th season Sept. 22-Oct. 10 with an adaptation of Theodore Dreiser's stunning novel An American Tragedy portraying true events about one of the most infamous murders of the century. Dreiser's masterpiece is being presented in cooperation with The University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton Esherick Museum, as part of a major symposium, THE BIRTH OF THE MODERN, held this fall at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jubilee plays November 25 - December 13* at the company's home venue in San Francisco's Financial District/Embarcadero, The Eureka Theatre (215 Jackson Street) and is directed by "Moon" Founding Artistic Director Greg MacKellan, with Dave Dobrusky as Musical Director and Tom Segal as Choreographer.

Theater for the New City is dedicated to presenting cross-disciplinary theatrical works and to developing audiences that support local New York artists; this festival is wonderfully suited to that mission. Puppet theater artists Jane Catherine Shaw and Sarah Provost are co-curators. This festival is generously supported by the Jim Henson Foundation.
