Today, Buckland Theatre Company has announced casting for LUV, the company's second production at PARK90 at Park Theatre. Directed by Gary Condes, Nick Barber will play Milt, Elsie Bennett will play Ellen and Charles Dorfman will play Harry. Written by Murray Schisgal (best known for co-writing the screenplay for Tootsie), LUV premiered on Broadway in 1964 directed by Mike Nichols and was Tony nominated for Best Play and Best Author. LUV will play at PARK90 from 8 Decemberuntil 7 January with an official press night on 13 December.

Am 25. Februar feierte das Gartnerplatztheater Munchen mit Galt MacDermots Rock Musical HAIR Premiere in der Reithalle. In keinem Musical wurden die Ideale der Hippie-Generation so auf den Punkt gebracht wie in diesem Broadway-Hit von 1967. 47 Jahre nach der skandalumwitterten deutschen Erstauffuhrung im Oktober 1968 im Munchner Theater in der Brienner Straße ist das Hippie-Happening jetzt wieder in Munchen zu erleben - mit der großartigen Rockmusik von damals, neu in Szene gesetzt von Gil Mehmert und Melissa King.
Das Publikum bei der Premiere war euphorisch, und wegen der extrem großen Nachfrage wurde inzwischen noch eine Zusatzvorstellung anberaumt. Vorstellungen laufen noch bis 17 Marz, mit der Sondervorstellung am 12 Marz. Die Presse zeigte sich ahnlich begeistert von diesem betagten amerikanischen Klassiker, der heute wieder erschreckend aktuell ist. Das hatten die Kritiker zu sagen:
